Testimonial

We invited Crafty Monkey to lead a series of pottery painting workshops at the Community Christmas Fair we held in our school. It was great to see so many of our children enjoying a craft activity alongside their mums, dads, uncles, aunties, friends and grandparents. Crafty Monkey staff were fantastically well-organised, friendly and helpful – feedback from our parents, children and staff was really positive. I am already booking a return visit as a post-SATs treat for our hard-working Year 6 pupils.

Testimonial

We visited CraftyMonkey for a school trip.  I took 20 reception children there to paint an egg cup, which is linked to our topic area of Easter.  It was such a lovely morning, extremely chilled and relaxed.  The owner of the workshop took the class and was fantastic with them, very friendly, kind and understanding that they were only 4 and 5 year olds.  She taught them a few pottery rules and the children listened intently.  The children all painted an Easter egg cup with no help and they really had a lovely time.  When we left they were very excited by what they had done and are looking forward to seeing the final piece once it has been in the kiln.  Thank you, CraftyMonkey for such an interesting, exciting, relaxing and useful school trip.

Mother's Day Hearts School Project

We run several workshops in local schools - 'Mother's Day Hearts', 'Father's Day Stars', 'Christmas Decorations' are all popular one's.  These projects are easy to run. We can come into your school with all the necessary equipment and materials. Once painted we will glaze and fire the items at our studio and they will be ready within 7-14 days.

In conjunction with Crafty Monkey, your PTA can raise money for the school while offering a fun and educational activity to the children that is curriculum friendly!

What's more, the children have fun, it's educational, the parents are happy as they are getting a good quality piece, and the PTA have raised money with little or no effort!  The prices for projects start from as little as £4 per child as we are happy to arrange discounts for educational groups.
